Talk = about COOL under pressure: Although his powerless plane was gliding lower and = lower with no way of reaching a runway, this past January US Air's Capt. Chesley Sullenberger was heard talking to New York air traffic controllers in = what a senior investigator subsequently called a "very calm, collected exercise." Asked if he wanted to land on one of La Guardia's = runways, he replies: "We're unable. We may end up in the Hudson." (As in =
'river!')

Asked about another airport, he calmly replied: "OK, which runway = would you like?," he asks the pilot.

But he replies: "We can't do it. We're gonna be in the = Hudson."

Less than two minutes after his initial call, Capt. Sullenberger = brought the plane down on the river opposite midtown Manhattan, saving the lives = of all 155 people on board, and untold others who might have been in the path = of the carnage. A good CEO is COOL under pressure.
