To all valued Reps and Travel Site Owners:

This is to remind all YTB affiliates that it is a violation of = Sections 3.6 (Domain Names and E-mail Addresses) and 3.7 (Trademarks and = Copyrights) of YTB's TSO and Rep Policies and Procedures, and of state and federal = law, to use priceline.com, Incorporated ("Priceline") registered = service marks, including, but not limited to PRICELINE®, = PRICELINE.COM®, and NAME YOUR OWN PRICE®, in connection with an affiliate YTB Travel = Network, Inc. or YTB Marketing, Inc. ("YTB") travel store domain name, URL, = e-mail address, trade name, service mark, trademark, Web site or marketing = material in any medium. The same is true for the trademarks and service marks = of other companies as well, such as AAA® or = ALAMO®.

If you are currently using a Priceline or other third = party mark in any of these ways, including in any domain name that redirects to a = YTB booking engine or a YTB-affiliated Web site, you must immediately do = the following to retain your privileges as a YTB affiliate:
 

    (i)  cease use of such trade name = and/or service mark wherever they
         may appear;
 

   (ii)  rename any travel store that = incorporates a Priceline or other
         third party mark or = any obvious imitation of it on the site itself;
 

  (iii)  completely disable any domain name that incorporates a Priceline
         or other third party = mark or any obvious imitation thereof; and
 

  (iv)  neither renew nor transfer such domain = name to a third party. 

Disabling a domain name means it must resolve to an error page.  Parking a domain name on a Web page provided by the domain = name registrar with paid links to Web sites does not alleviate your = liability as a representative of YTB.  

It is the responsibility of YTB Reps and TSOs, and not YTB itself, to be cognizant of and comply with trademark laws. Companies = such as Priceline invest considerable resources, time and effort marketing and promoting their trademarked products and services. Use of the trade = names, service marks and trademarks of others, such as Priceline, in = connection with your YTB business may subject you to federal and state trademark = infringement claims. 

We trust we can count on your prompt cooperation.  Otherwise, your status as a YTB affiliate may be terminated in = accordance with the Rep and TSO policies and procedures.
