Hey, YTB --
=
&=
nbsp; Think About =
This
Pick Up A Pen And Leave It =
In The
Car
If
that seems odd, I'm talking about two different points. Here's what I =
mean…
1. The act of writing someone a personal, hand-written note is a lost =
art in
our electronic world today. My rules of thumb on the back end of a key =
visit
are these:
• If it has been a positive phone conversation, =
I'll send an
email of thanks,
• However, if someone has taken time out of their =
busy schedule
to meet with me face-to-face, I pick up a pen and write them a =
personal note
of appreciation.
I can guarantee you that a hand-written note is read, typically before =
any
bill or junk mail is reviewed. It is an extremely effective way to cut
through the clutter in today's world. Try it…you'll be surprised =
the response
you get.
2. Also, I acknowledge that many of us make our living with our cell =
phones
and the thought of missing a key call is enough to cause our stomachs =
to
churn. However, when we take our cell phone into a meeting and it goes =
off a
couple of times (even on vibrate mode), the only possible message we =
send the
other person is "I have something more important going on." =
Often I
will leave mine in the car on purpose, taking away the temptation of =
checking
it constantly. Try this one too…it may take some getting used =
to, but you'll
be amazed at how is sharpens your focus.

Here's
What They Are Saying
"I
would like to state emphatically that the rumors of my departure from =
YTB are
outright lies. I love this company and am loyal to my friends and YTB
Founders, Coach, Scott, and Kim. YTB has been very good to me and my =
family
for years, and I have no intention of going elsewhere. It's a shame =
that some
people resort to such dishonest behavior of spreading lies in order to =
build
their business. Attend my YTBU class at the next Red Carpet Day and =
I'll tell
you of my commitment to this great company." Director Ron =
Head,
Benton, Illinois.
"I've had a career being the most successful custom home builder =
in the
‘best' master planned community in the world - The Woodlands, =
Texas. At 61
years of age, I can tell anyone, without a doubt, that YTB is like =
‘none
other'! There was a day in America's history where companies took care =
of
their employees as family, and those working for the company were =
known as a
'COMPANY MAN.' Today in America, that no longer exists, except in YTB. =
I have
tagged myself as a 'COMPANY MAN' for YTB." Wally Westbrook, =
Coach's
Corner, The Woodlands, Texas.
"May I just say that as a Canadian RTA with more than 20 years in =
the
Travel Industry, and now with 2 years of YTB in my back pocket, I =
can't tell
you how excited and empowered I feel, and how very proud I am to be =
growing
my YTB business with the best bunch of people and the top-notch =
leadership of
Coach, Scott and Kim! I'm ALL in! See you at Convention!" =
Andrea
Nadon, RTA (soon to be Coach's Corner!!), Brampton, Ontario, Canada. =
"I'm all in with Coach and YTB, always have been, always will =
be!" Director
Dan Neitz, Reno, Nevada.
"That which we can see, is not always what we can be, but what we =
train
our mind and hearts to believe, is what we will ultimately achieve! =
This has
been my motto for twenty years!" Capt. Amy Cormier, RTA, Port =
St
Lucie, Florida.
